Testimonials
-
My name is Darren Kirwin and my role at the Education and Training Foundation is Head of Quality Assurance. In my job role I am responsible for ensuring the quality of delivery for the programmes the ETF provide for the further education sector and Independent training providers nationally. I have been with the company for three months now and have found the induction programme to be outstanding. The ETF represent their values in all that they do, and this is evident in the support, training, and development that employees receive.

I’ve been working at the ETF for over 6 years, and it’s the best organisation I have worked for. ETF has allowed me to develop my career by offering me the training I need to do my role effectively and is continually pushing me to grow my knowledge. The company has an excellent benefits package and has been especially beneficiary to me being a mum, ETF makes it easy for me to feel I can continue progressing up the career ladder whilst having a healthy work-life balance.

I have been working at the membership arm of the ETF as a Coordinator for just over two years now. I enjoy working at a company that allows you to be yourself and explore your strengths at work. The people really make the ETF and the company invests in its people so it is a nice environment to work in.

About The ETF
The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is the expert body for professional development and standards in Further Education and Training in England. Our role is to commission and deliver continuous professional development (CPD) for teachers, leaders and trainers to support government policy and meet sector needs. We have a charitable purpose to improve education and training for learners aged 14 and over.
We support the continuing transformation of our country’s technical and vocational education system by ensuring the sector has world-class teachers, trainers, assessors and leaders. This leads to ever-improving learner outcomes, a better skilled workforce and a stronger economy, country and society. The ETF believes that the key to improving education and training is to support teachers and their leaders to excel.
